Launched in 2012, the ICAS Foundation aims to support academically talented young people from under-represented communities to study accountancy or finance-related degrees.

Consilium have been an active supporter of the ICAS Foundation since the firm was founded. We provide internship and career opportunities for ICAS students each year and many of our colleagues are student mentors, providing support to Foundation students as they progress through university into employment.

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the world’s leading professional body for Accounting Technicians. AAT provides a technician level qualification which entitles those who have completed the exams and obtained relevant supervised work experience to become an accounting technician.

AAT is often a route for school leavers to progress to ACCA or ICAS qualifications in due course. An increasing number of school leavers opt for alternative routes to obtaining accountancy qualifications and AAT has proved a successful route for many.
