Graduate Trainees
Graduate trainees at Consilium Chartered Accountants are more than just a small cog in a big machine. You will work with successful businesses from day one of your training and gain hands-on accountancy experience as you study to become a Chartered or Certified Accountant.
Consilium’s graduate programme differs from traditional accountancy training schemes by offering exposure to a broad base of professional services and a diverse portfolio of clients. We focus on getting to know you and investing in your professional career. Exam-relevant experience across a range of business sectors and industries gives trainees a full sense of the career options available to them, before completing their professional exams with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Our Graduate recruitment process runs from August to October each year, with successful candidates starting their training in the following August.

Structured training and the right support to become an Accountant
Consilium’s graduate training programme is open to all final-year degree students with an interest in accounts and finance. A 2:1 honours degree is advisable but is not an absolute requirement.
While you study for your Chartered or Certified Accountancy qualification with Consilium, we provide a structured training programme that allows you to develop the skills and competencies relevant to your career. We ensure that you get exposure to all areas of the business – Audit, Accounts, Corporate Finance and Tax – providing great experience relevant to your professional exams.
