Internships at Consilium
Deciding which career path to pursue is not an easy decision. At Consilium we offer young adults with an interest in accountancy paid summer internships. Providing the opportunity to get a real sense of what it is like to work in accountancy and finance prior to graduation.
ICAS Foundation internships
We have been active supporters of the ICAS Foundation for many years. The Foundation aims to support academically talented young people from under-represented communities to reach university. This is achieved by providing mentoring, support and financial assistance to students recruited through the foundation.
Consilium Chartered Accountants offer paid summer placements for students in our Glasgow office. We believe the work our interns do is valuable to our clients so students can expect to play a real role in helping our business.
For young students, it is important that you supplement your studies by gaining experience of working in a professional environment. Accounting internships are available to students intending to study accounting or finance at university.
Consilium operates a structured internship programme that provides interns with experience across all areas of our business audit, accounts, personal tax and corporation tax. This provides insights relevant to your future studies but can also help shape decisions that you make for your future career.
Consilium’s company ethos is embedded in our accounting internships. Students are respected, trusted, encouraged and challenged. You will be doing real work for real clients based in Scotland, across the UK and internationally.
Indeed, it is testament to the quality of our programme that a number of our graduate recruits initially spent time at Consilium as summer interns.
